一、Appearance of Aukey 20W charger
The product is packaged in a paper box, with the AUKEY brand printed on the top, and the charger name, sketch and model number are printed on the green paper.

二、AUKEY 20W charger disassembly
Disassemble the input port shell, the pins are fixed with transparent plastic plates and screw packaging, and the contact-type energization design is used.
Take out the charger, there is a white plastic shell between the upper and lower two small plates for isolation.
There is a small board between the upper and lower two small boards for connection.
The small output board was removed, and it was found through observation that this charger uses a switching power supply with a wide range of output, and the secondary protocol chip controls the output voltage through an optocoupler in a typical architecture. There is a white plastic insulation cover between the primary and secondary. Below we start from the input part to understand each component one by one.
Overview of charger input terminal
The charger input uses a patch fuse with a rated current of 2A.
There are NTC surge suppression resistors, I-shaped inductors and two high-voltage filter electrolytic capacitors on the side.
A rectifier bridge and a PWM main control chip are arranged on the back of the small input board.

The specifications of the two high-voltage filter electrolytic capacitors are both 400V 15μF.
The other side is provided with a transformer and a power supply capacitor for the main control chip.
The power supply capacitor for the PWM main control chip comes from ChengX, with a specification of 50V 4.7μF.
The main control chip of the charger adopts BEE Micro KP22308WG. This is a high-performance quasi-resonant current mode PWM conversion chip for off-line flyback converters. It integrates a high-voltage start-up circuit and can obtain fast start-up and ultra-low standby performance. The chip supports 8-40V VDD power supply, which is convenient for meeting Wide voltage output power supply requirements.
KP22308WG built-in 650V MOS tube, internally has a high-precision 80kHz switching frequency oscillator, and has frequency modulation and current peak modulation functions, which can optimize EMI performance. The chip combines quasi-resonant control mode, green energy-saving mode and hiccup mode to work, optimizes the efficiency in the whole range, realizes the standby power consumption is less than 30mW, meets the six-level energy efficiency requirements, and integrates comprehensive protection functions.

The secondary synchronous rectifier chip also uses BYW KP41262. This is a high-performance synchronous rectification power switch used to replace the Schottky diode on the secondary side of the flyback converter. It has a built-in ultra-low on-resistance power MOSFET to improve system efficiency. Supports High Side and Low Side configurations, and supports system discontinuous working mode (DCM) and quasi-resonant working mode (QR) at the same time.
KP41262 has built-in 60V power MOS tube in SO8 package. Built-in VDD high-voltage power supply module, without VDD auxiliary winding power supply, reducing system cost. For the 12V system with Low Side configuration, increase the Vo LDO power supply mode to reduce power supply loss. VDD undervoltage protection and VDD voltage clamp function are integrated inside.
The protocol chip uses Yunxi Semiconductor XPD750. XPD750 has passed the USB PD3.0 certification (TID: 3479), supports PD2.0/3.0, PPS, QC2.0/3.0, FCP, SCP, HVSCP, AFC and other fast charging protocols, and integrates a 10mΩ VBUS channel power switch tube. And integrated 10mΩ current detection resistor, support perfect protection function, save the number of external components, reduce costs. It is packaged in ESOP8.
